This discussion will take an in depth look at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s fair housing legacy, the impact of his work, and where we are today. The panel will be hosted by Dr. Ricky Woods, Senior Pastor, Senior Minister for First Baptist Church-West.

We’re celebrating Dr. King and our upcoming production of The Mountaintop with an event featuring dance, dramatizations, spoken word, and musical selections.
The evening will be hosted by Charlotte area actors Sultan Omar El-Amin and Lillie Oden.
Throughout the event, you’ll experience performances from Central Piedmont Drama Club, Theatre Gap Initiative, New Life Community Church, and local artists including Shar Marlin, K Alana Jones, Kerra Don, Chiletta Marie, and Andrew C. Roberts. Talent coordinated by Salim Muhammad.
