Rebuild Update #1

We had big hopes of sharing all kinds of fun building updates with you over the past year, but unfortunately, the building updates were anything but fun. Insurance, inventory, cleaning, permits, plan reviews, inspections, and paperwork don't qualify for "exciting updates" (trust us - we had to live through it!).

The good news is that, while there is still plenty of the mind-numbing work going on, there is also real progress that we can share! Here's this week's update:

• The first step to rebuilding was actually to make the hole left in the auditorium floor bigger.

• Our contractor cleaned out all the damaged floor sections and put in new concrete footers.

• Then they began framing in preparation for the new floor and seating to be installed.

Next up: scaffolding inside and repairs outside!
