ABOUT FRANKENSTEIN

Mary Shelley’s revolutionary horror classic is shocked to life in Nick Dear’s thrilling adaptation. Told through the eyes of the abandoned Creature, this bold gothic retelling follows a life born innocent and curious, only to be rejected by the very man who made him. Alone in a world that fears and despises him, his yearning for connection spirals into rage and revenge. Determined to confront his creator, he hunts him down to demand a terrifying bargain. Visceral and haunting, this powerful production explores the explosive bond between maker and creation, confronting us with urgent questions of responsibility, belonging, and what it truly means to be human. In the end, Frankenstein dares us to decide: who is the real monster?

Interview with Delores Abdullah, director for Frankenstein

Interview with our director for Frankenstein, Delores Abdullah

“…I wanted to direct Frankenstein because it’s ultimately not about monsters—it’s about people. It’s about our need to be seen, loved, and accepted, and it challenges both artists and audiences to ask difficult questions about what we owe one another. As a director, that combination of emotional depth, moral complexity, and limitless theatrical possibility is incredibly exciting…”
