Open Call for Musicians

We know how difficult it can be to break into the theatre scene, especially if you are new to the area. If you are a musician, whether it's your day job or a side passion, we want to get to know you. We are looking for passionate, fun and collaborative musicians for future productions at Theatre Charlotte.

AUDITION AND SIGN UP DETAILS

We will be holding an open call for musicians to share their talents with us on Sunday, December 8th beginning at 6pm at Theatre Charlotte, 501 Queens Road, Charlotte, NC 28207.

Please sign up for an audition time and fill out an audition form here.

If you play percussion, drums or instruments too large to quickly set up during a ten minute audition, please be sure your video audition fully represents your skill set and musical range. A keyboard will be available. During your audition, please prepare no more than 3 minutes of music that shows your range. You may also be asked to read music from a musical selection. Audition submissions and sign ups will be accepted through December 6th.

Our next production, Violet, showcases music ranging from American folk to show stopping anthems to gospel. Violet will be under the Music Direction of Danielle Barnes Hayes and Directed by Stuart Spencer.
