Become a Theatre Charlotte Patron!
Contributions from patrons are vital to the mission of Theatre
Charlotte. The average cost of presenting one musical for 12
performances is $24,000 and the average cost of presenting a comedy or
drama is $9,000. We receive one-fourth of our operating income from the
Arts and Science Council and one-half from ticket sales, facility
rental, and concessions. We must raise the final one-fourth through
contributions from individuals, businesses, corporations and
foundations. In order to continue making theatre relevant to the lives
of the people of the Charlotte region, in order to provide quality
entertainment, and in order to continue changing lives through theatre,
we need that support.
